The Chinese New Year Event occurs during Chinese New Year, typically in January or February each year in accordance with the lunar calendar.

The Chinese New Year event changes the Common cubie each year to celebrate the Chinese Zodiac animal of that year. 2024 is the Year of the Dragon!

The Event will start on February 10, 2024 at 00:00 UTC.

Special Resources will drop during the event.

  • White Vaults will drop Common CNY resources and Rabbit Cubie & Baby Dragon Cubie blueprints (medium chance).
  • Blue Vaults will drop Rare CNY resources and Lantern Cubie blueprints (low chance).
  • Trade Shacks will be replaced by "Lantern Shacks"
    • Lantern Shacks will drop Epic CNY resources and the new Epic Cubie blueprint (very very low chance).
    • Lantern Shacks will respawn every 24 hours at Noon UTC.
    • Lantern Shacks have a 10% chance to drop a bonus box with 250 of any Chinese New Year resources, past or present.

The Chinese New Year Cubie Blueprints will only drop during the Chinese New Year event and then will not be available until the event repeats next Chinese New Year.

Start!

To start the quest, all you need to do is open the quest menu by clicking the Chinese New Year Event quest icon on the far left of your screen, under the Leaderboard icon.

Solve 10 Vaults (any color) to complete the first Block of the Quest Chain.

Pay 1 White Key to advance.

Collect Gift (250 of each single-color paint) to advance.

Pay 1 Blue Key to advance.
